Labor unions and students joined the growing Occupy Wall Street movement in New York City on Wednesday in the largest march since the protest began 20 days ago. Tens of thousands marched from Foley Square to Zuccotti Park, renamed "Liberty Plaza," the site of the protest encampment where hundreds have been sleeping since Sept. 17. We hear from eyewitnesses to an altercation between police and protesters at Wall Street.

President Obama reversed his opposition to campaign support through super pacs. On Monday, his campaign urged wealthy donors to support a super pac called Priorities USA Action. Obama's campaign manager, Jim Messina said, "we're not going to fight with one hand tied behind our back. With so much at stake, we can't allow for two sets of rules. Democrats cant be unilaterally disarmed."

Bank of America Lawsuit: DN! 02/06/12

New York Attorney General, Eric Schneiderman has filed suit against the Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and JPMorganChase for deceptive and fraudulent use of a private database known as the mortgage electronic registration system. Schneiderman said, "the mortgage industry created MERS to allow financial institutions to evade county recording fees, avoid the need to publicly record mortgage transfers and facilitate the rapid sale and securitization of mortgages en masse."

e New York Times reported Monday the Obama administration has decided in principle to allow embattled Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh to enter the United States to receive "legitimate medical treatment." If the report is true, the United States will have agreed to Saleh's arrival hours after his forces killed nine people demanding he be tried for deaths of protesters over the past year.

Occupy Wall Street received a surprise visit Monday from several leading Egyptian activists, including 26-year-old Asmaa Mahfouz. She is one of the founders of the April 6 Youth Movement, which is the group credited with helping to organize the January 25 protests that eventually toppled the regime of former president Hosni Mubarak.  Oakland police stormed the Occupy Oakland protest encampment outside City Hall just before 5:00 a.m. PDT. Police lobbed flash grenades and reportedly fired tear gas.
