Can We Get Free Speech TV on TimeWarner Cable in LA?

At my house, we haven't gotten round to upgradingt our phone/cable service yet (to the relatively new fiber obtic standard). We still get old-fashioned DSL. Meanwhile we are being actively courted by the two big contenders, ATT (phone) and Time Warner Cable, each assuring us they can provide every service we might ever desire. I keep telling them that one thing I want is to receive Free Speech TV, and they tell me they've never heard of it, but invite me to call back with more info. Do you know if it's possible to get Free Speech TV with either of those major carriers? I don't see them listed under California's provders, but I admit, I'm not all that tech-savvy. But if f I could get Free Speech TV, specifically if I could at last watch Thom Hartmann's TV show, that's the provider I'd choose and I'd order the upgrade tomorrow! Any info appreciated!! FSTV on Time Warner Cable

Hi, we are certainly doing everything we can to get FSTV on all cable outlets. It's not as easy as you might think. Thanks for letting your local operator know about FSTV and that you want it carried. It took ten years to get on DIRECTV, so we all need to work together. Leland/FSTV

A Great Country

Is this a great country or what? Where else would an operation like FSTV exist? I'm a new DirecTV subscriber and came across FSTV by accident recently. I watched for about an hour on several occasions which was sufficient to determine that it isn't worthwhile. It provides the malcontents with a place to vent but beyond that it doesn't have any apparent value. Some of the reporting might have some value if it was complete, but it isn't. To say the programming is biased is an understatement. It's not honest reporting; it's pure propaganda.

FSTV 4 STL

If there is one good thing about having U-Verse (though I would rather still have Charter) it is that there is room for FSTV in the system. I know Higher Education Channel (HEC) here in St. Louis airs some programs from FSTV, but HEC isn't very good at publishing its schedule. Having FSTV full time would be better.

Free Speech TV is said to be channel 348 on Direct TV

I have Direct TV satellite and I haven't seen even channel 348 on it. Please make sure that Direct TV puts it on their satellite. I'm very liberal and would love to watch Free Speech TV. Thank you. God bless you.

Direct TV Channel 248

Free Speech TV on Direct TV Ch 248 requires an HD receiver and HD signal to get it.

It's Channel 348

And yes, you have to have the digital hookup. Click here to find out why:

DIRECTV Carriage

I have DIRECTV and watch FSTV on channel 348 in Florida.

Bring it to SF

I would very much like to watch Free Speech TV in SF on Comcast Cable. Sf is arguably the most progressive city in the U.S. Please bring it here! Lee (SF)

Bring to SF

I agree 100% I would love to access Free Speech TV on Comcast cable in San Francisco. Please let me know what I can do to help make this happen.

Availability of Free Speech TV

Why is there no Free Speech TV in San Diego. (Cox Cable)?

FreeSpeechTV on Cox

FreeSpeech TV is on some cable stations, but not all. Individual cable companies can pick up FreeSpeechTV, but it is their choice, not ours. Call your cable company and ask them to add FSTV to their listngs. Leland/FSTV

FSTV in Los Angeles

Why is there no cable coverage for Free Speech TV in or near Los Angeles? Is this because Time Warner Cable is in power??

FSTV in Los Angeles

Hi, thanks for your question. As of now, FSTV is not on Time Warner Cable unless local T-W affliciates choose to provide our programming. So contact your local provider and request FSTV. Right now, FSTV is only available on DISH Network ch. 9415, DIRECTV ch. 348 and online and on-demand at http://www.freespeech.org. Leland/FSTV

I think I'll Cancel My Time Warner Subscription!

FSTV is the best channel on TV, with Current and RT running a close second and third. I'm on the verge of cancelling my subscription to Time Warner Cable and exploring Dish Network again. I had them years ago and they are far superior--they offer FSTV!
