The journalistic equivalent of a Hallmark holiday. That is how Obama Senior Adviser David Axelrod described the buzz and hype over the first 100 days of the presidency. Whether you buy it or not, an early review of the presidency may tell us something about what we can expect over the next 900 days. From use of torture and the war in Afghanistan, to labor law reform and reproductive rights what do we know about Obama's policies? And how about we the people? How have we done? New Yorker Senior Editor and Staff Writer Hendrik Hertzberg, author Walter Mosley, Faye Wattleton co-founder and president of the Center for the Advancement of Women, and Miles Rappaport of Demos take a look back at the first 100 days. Then, Camelia Entekhabifard an Iranian American journalist and a writer for the reformist paper Zan, was imprisoned for her work and for challenging the authority of the Islamic regime. She talks about her story, her new memoir Camelia, and the ongoing trial of Roxana Saberi. Finally, Heather Boushey of the Center For American Progress talks about the current economic crisis and how mass unemployment will change the way we live. Thanks to the Center for Community Change and Wal-Mart Workers for Change for video in tonight's show.

Laura,
Your uncles must be shaking their heads in despair- pity that that old codger Cockburn of Counterpunch wasn't invited to this discussion. What silly blather- as for General Barack Elphinstone Obama, well, you might want to ask your uncles a few questions about 1839
