This lively talk show features a mix of interviews, rants and comedy segments, highlighting Roseanne and Johnny's funny, heartfelt, and sometimes poignant outlook on issues regarding the government, corporations, pop-culture, and mainstream media. Future guest idea
First off, I love your show! It's refreshing to hear the truth on TV versus the mainstream crap that insults our intelligence while attempting to influence our opinions through advertising. If you're in the loop on YouTube, you know about Cliff High and his Webbot project. The web bot a computer spider that scans the world wide web, looking for future trends and patterns related to future events. The premise of the webbot is that everybody is psychic and the webbot is able to tap into that source through linguistics. Cliff has issued a warning regarding a dire event to occur on or around October 25, 2009. It's unclear, at this point in time, whether this event is going to be a bank holiday, bank run or a war announcement. The only episode I've found had a excellent variety of topics and guests, and each topic was covered respectfully.
Roseanne added some levity, but none inappropriately - and she said many things that, if I had her guts and a TV show, I hope I would say! Things that need to be said - I wish she had an even larger forum. Perhaps she could do this format live (and have it taped for fstv) in different cities on stage with an admission fee to cover costs.
I sincerely hope there will be many more episodes of Tipping Point with Roseanne Barr.

For Roseanne--
So, as I said in my first comment, that's why Obama fired the head of GM only, & didn't fire the heads of all those Wall Street firms & Big Banks--like the Fed & Goldman Sachs, Countrywide, Bank of Anerica, AIG etc., that caused this financial meltdown.
He got "tough" with GM & fired the CEO only because it allows them to break the unions in the auto industry. (You know they outsourced all the US jobs they possible could, & they've been working on busting the unions ever since cause they can't outsource them.) They took the auto workers health insurance & pensions--something they would not DARE do to Wall Street, the Fed & big banks--even though they caused this--well they caused it along with our govt's help.
(Not that GM isn't guilty too. They & the rest of the auto industry have spent billions lobbying [buying] washington to keep the mpg standards low & they have been doing that for yesrs. That's one big reason why we have so much pollution & are still dependent on Big Oil. The 2 big causes of global warming are vehicles & dirty coal fired power plants, which most of our electricity comes from.)
There is no clean nor cheap coal. It's a lie the coal industry pays big bucks to spread.
Oh btw, Obama has been mostly business as usual in Wash--of course he is light years better than Bush!
But, in his favor, it is probably impossible for a president to actually get anything of value done for the People, without getting himself assassinated like Kennedy did, unless he has the WILL of the People on his side. I don't see anyone demonstrating in the streets, so I'm guessing no one believes it will do any good if they do--& maybe they are right, I don't know.
The scariest thing to me is when I read that there is one serious scientist who is respected & about 90 yrs old now--who claims it's already too late. Global warming will ravage the earth. But he says he is optimistic--because out of the billions of people who will die--several million will survive & live on macrobiotic food etc.
Oh hell. I hope he is wrong. You know what? The govt needs to take all those billions they just gave away to big biz to continue polluting our earth & study HOW to reverse global warming! IF they had a brain, that is...
So, when you have someone on, make sure they know what they're talking about.
I personally watch DemocracyNow!.org & read CommonDreanms.org plus a lot of others.
