Gay USA: Obama and Same-Sex Partner Benefits

The Obama administration is suddenly faced with some big dilemmas on benefits for same-sex partners, and a "don't ask, don't tell" case. The Washington State Senate approves a domestic partners bill that grants full (state) marriage rights to same sex couples. The House and Gov. are expected to approve it, too.
