Testing for Non-gay Marriage and Gays in the Military
Concerning gay marriage, it seems to me that the entire problem is being posed backwards. If the definition for marriage is that only one woman and one man are to be married, then it is in the hands of those who are so defining it to prove that this has already been carried out. What then is the genetic definition of a man or a woman? Once this has been determined, XX or XY only for example, is it not required that more than a doctor's cursory viewing of the newborn is used as the sole determiner of gender? Do we not need to genetically test every single pair of marrieds in order to determine whether or not they are married within the framework of the law as stated? Talk about government getting in my business! Talk about running up a huge government bill!
I would also like to know why those who are not-gay are getting preferential treatment when it comes to educational access if gays are not being allowed to file for G. I. Benefits since they are not allowed to complete the required service to receive this educational benefit. No G.I./VA loans? No VA military medical service? It seems to me that anyone who is fit for service and wants to serve cannot be denied these benefits simply because they are an inconvenience to the United States Armed Forces. I believe that gays should be allowed to serve fully. If I were at war and going to be shot by the enemy I would rather be saved by Ru Paul than killed. How vain can people be?
I am married and someone else's being gay or being gay and married is not a hindrance to my marriage whatsoever. I find no reason that they should be both denied serving and services. Surely a gay getting hospital treatment or educational services cannot impede production, consumption, or investment in the United States.
I watch your program often, and I applaud your bringing the rest of the news to my attention.
