GRITtv: Hate Crimes & Immigration Policy Roundtable: What Can the Government Do?
Most Americans agree our current immigration policy is not working - how to deal with it garners far more debate. As government mulls over ways to improve policy, the list of recent hate crimes continues to grow: three police officers shot Pittsburgh last April by a white supremacist, Dr. Tiller's assassination in Wichita, and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum shooting. Can the government reform our immigration policy while taking strong measures to curb the violence? Joining us in studio today are Mallika Dutt, Founder and Executive Director of Breakthrough: Building Human Rights Culture, Rich Benjamin, senior fellow at DEMOS and Author of Searching for Whitopia: An Improbable Journey to the Heart of White America and Leonard Zeskind, a longtime civil rights activist and Author of Blood and Politics: The History of the White Nationalist Movement from the Margins to the Mainstream.

White Nationalist show
Laura,
You're show was a joke. It featured an Indian, a Jew, and a Black? FYI: 5
Indian convenience store owners in Tampa Bay were shot in one week here in Tampa
Bay (two were brothers), and, you guessed it, the shooters were all "blacks!"
Did you ever see the true crime statistics r.e. "black on white" crime versus
"white on black?" I don't think so. You'd faint. Perhaps that's why the white
police officers from L.A. are headed to the hills in Idaho with their families?
They've seen it, and once lived it day-to-day. Nothing is deemed "a hate crime"
unless it's a sensational (and rare like the D.C. Holocaust shooting) and involving
a white on black (or other nationality) crime. Please advise your Jewish guest
that a Zionist-occupied government is destroying this country. We are currently
morally, financially, and spiritually bankrupt under that leadership. Zionists
and their brethren in America are destroying entire countries and peoples. Go
to Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Gaza, or Palestine for starters. Other more
fortunate peoples have only had their enconomies destroyed by the greed. Money is
being used as a weapon to topple nations just like bombs. That's why Wolfowitz
moves from Secretary of Defense to the World Bank.
Lastly, with respect to immigration, it all begins with emigration right? Let's
pick up the nature of the problem upstream rather than down. Here it's a bullshit,
political football that we can bring out of the closet every 4 years and jerk
peoples' emotions. Peoples fleeing Mexico, the Balkans, Darfur, the Mideast, etc
are the victims of multinational corportate greed and wars, spawned by the CIA,
Mossad, and Jewish Neocon evildoers (among others in their camp and orbit). That
is the sad truth that most Americans won't confront, preferring to cling to "mom,
apple pie, and the flag" instead. Those concerned about runaway immigration
are rightfully concerned here and elsewhere. How many can enter this country or
any other without sinking that country's ship as a result? That is the $64,000
question.
Sincerely,
Joe F.
