Sarah Palin's "Going Rogue: An American Life" comes out Tuesday, and she doesn't appear likely to fade from public prominence anytime soon. Pundits and political observers wrote her off after the Republican ticket's loss in 2008 and again after her rather unconventional exist from the Alaska governorship, but Palin remains popular with the Republican base and has demonstrated her ability to drive the discourse, whether it's her Facebook post about "death panels" or jumping into the race in New York's 23rd district. She's staying in the limelight because everyone keeps using her name everywhere... the more you hear it the more it'll be on everyones tongue. Make her generic, make her bland and STOP using her brand! Mac vs. PC campaigns prove just how well the tactic works.

Dear Sarah is one of the Democrat's greatest assets. Her ties to the Republicans provide a wonderful and almost insoluble dilemma for them, while on the one hand she is wildly popular and on the other hand she is clearly a complete idiot. I feel the confusion she will provide in the upcoming elections will be very helpful to us.
