Keynote: David Suzuki: Air, Water and Soil

Biologist, conservationist, broadcaster and author David Suzuki reminds us that the biosphere is the source of everything that makes our lives and economy possible. Economies perceived to be capable of eternal growth are undermining the very life support systems of the planet. The real bottom line is not economics; it is determined by our biological, social and spiritual needs.

This Guy is Right

The statement above is completely right. People focus on money as their livelihood while destroying the world we live in to get in. We are not leaving much of a planet for the generations to come to live on.

David Suzuki has a great deal

David Suzuki has a great deal of insight about our enviroment. Though he has many inteligent things to say, economics shouldn't be dismissed so quickly. Economics is a logical extension of men's & women's free will. Aside from our spirit to explore & understand, is it not our natural desire to create and to bring those inventions to a market that other's burdens may be lightened? Doesn't a healthy balance seem to be the larger goal in preserving in our environment while not crushing the human spirit as well. Thankyou for your work, Tad
