Michael Lerner, president and founder of Commonweal, the renowned health and environmental research institute, co-founder of the Commonweal Cancer Help Program and now the Collaborative on Health and the Environment (CHE), is one of the great visionary leaders of the emerging "Ecological Medicine" movement. He warns us that we are living in an Age of Extinctions, the seventh great spasm of extinctions in planetary history and experiencing an epidemic of environmentally related diseases.
